Brampton, Ontario — June 1, 2016 — Research is great, but there’s just no substitute for actually getting your hands on repair equipment and trying it out. That was part of the reason behind a recent open house event hosted by Alu Autotech.
The company is located in Brampton, Ontario and specializes in selling equipment directly to the body shop industry. Alu Autotech carries a number of major lines, including Chief, Chassis Liner, Globaljig, GFS paint booths and Goff curtains. The company also carries other items, such as part carts and hand tools.
“We held the open house to give our customers a chance to hear about the Honda ProFirst program and the equipment required to repair high-strength steel,” says Injum Bhutta, Alu Autotech’s Technical Program Manager. “We also provided information on aluminum repair, mostly to do with Ford’s F-150 repair program.”
Representatives from at least 45 local collision repair facilities attended the event. In addition to a BBQ lunch provided by Alu Autotech, attendees received education on the requirements of Honda’s ProFirst collision certification program and had a chance to not only see the latest equipment demonstrated but try it out for themselves as well.
