Macon, Georgia — A space once full of cold industrial machines and mediocre pizza will soon be transformed into…another space full of cold industrial machines and the occasional pizza lunch, as Macon, Ga.’s former Chuck-E-Cheese becomes a bodyshop.
Local media reported that a Gerber Collision Auto Body and Glass facility will soon usurp the throne of Macon’s pre-eminent party rat, Lord Charles Entertainment Cheese, bringing with it between 15 to 18 jobs.
The collision centre reportedly plans to keep its wrecked vehicles behind an eight-foot privacy fence, so as to prevent the location from being more of an eyesore than it already is.
The centre also assured county officials that the stereotypical “beating of metal” sounds thought to emanate from bodyshops are a thing of the past, promising to be good neighbours.
