Toronto, Ontario — February 5, 2018 — Last Thursday, the Ontario Division of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) donated $15,000 to the High Five for Kids Foundation.

The foundation, which is a charitable organization under the AIA itself, has been in operation since 2005. It provides grants to programs and charities that offer benefits for children in Canada. Although the spectrum of charities the foundation donates to is broad, there is a priority given to those who work at the local level in their community.

Since 2012, the High Fives for Kids Foundation has donated over $150,000 to charities across Canada. Scholarships are also made available to qualifying students who demonstrate the desire to pursue an education in the automotive aftermarket industry.

The High Fives for Kids Foundation is also currently seeking additional volunteers for its board of directors. You can find more information here: aiacanada.com/who-we-are/our-charities/high-five-for-kids-foundation/.
