Toronto, Ontario — July 16, 2019 – AIA is excited to present the Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference – a summit for women all over the world who are passionate about the industry.
Beginning on Aug 7, the conference will be hosted in Detroit Michigan at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. Filled with workshops, updates on industry trends as well as personal and professional development tools, the conference is also offering credits towards women’s education in the trade. According to AIA, “all attendees are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEU) credits toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) professional designations.”
Attendees will also hear from industry leaders about how to turn fear into power, improve confidence, and how to empower other women in the business. Some highly-anticipated keynote speakers include Melissa Marshall, founder of Present Your Science and a notable Ted Talk speaker and Judi Holler, an author, emcee, and marketing expert.
“This conference will offer women in our industry new ways to explore and achieve their professional goals by expanding their networks and influence across borders,” stated AIA. “[The conference] will bring women in the auto care industry across borders for an international meeting of ideas, insight, and influence”
