Toronto, Ontario — Hunter Engineering has released a new comprehensive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) coverage guide, which aims to offer users easily accessible static and dynamic calibration coverage for service advisors and customers.
As listed under Hunter’s ADAS Coverage Guide: Calibrations and Wheel Alignment Adjustments, the new publication covers hundreds of vehicle models from 2006 through the present and will be updated twice per year to keep pace with the rapidly evolving ADAS market.
A recent press release from the company further notes that “with this information at hand, service advisors can identify required ADAS calibrations or resets before writing up the work order. This early determination allows the shop to avoid the perception of discovering additional work once the vehicle is actually on the alignment rack.”
The guide further designates the necessary Hunter ADAS equipment to complete the work, including Ultimate ADAS, ADAS Link scan tool and DAS 3000 static calibration fixture. Mechanical wheel alignment adjustments and steering system resets are also included.
The guide is meant to complement Hunter Engineering’s industry-standard 1708-T Alignment Guide, which will also continue to be periodically updated.
