John Norris, executive director of the Collision Industry Information Assistance, has died. Known as a passionate champion of the Canadian collision industry, and of the people who worked within it, Norris is also known for playing a major role in the establishment of the Ontario College of Trades.

Solera Gets New CEO
Solera Holdings has a new CEO. The data and software company for the automotive industry announced on Wednesday that Jeff Tarr will be taking over from Tony Aquila as the new CEO. Tarr has two decades of experience leading data and technology-enabled services companies spanning multiple sectors. Most recently, Tarr served as CEO and president of DigitalGlobe, where he led the launch of innovative products that leveraged AI and other new technologies, entered new markets and nearly tripled the company’s revenue.
