St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador— In its 21st vehicle Collision Clinic giveaway, the organization has awarded a fully rebuilt Nissan SUV to Marsha Murley and her three children.
The vehicle was donated to the Murley family as part of the company’s Enriching Lives program.
The new vehicle further comes with spare tires, a year of car insurance and Christmas gifts for Murley’s children.
CBC News originally noted that the number of individuals nominated for this year’s charity program increased by 300 percent, with over 50 nominees for this year’s giveaway.
Murley further commented to the news source that the car would help her take her kids to and from school and extracurricular activities, as well as to visit loved ones. She also says that the vehicle could help her pick up more shifts at work to support her children.
Darren Martin, part of Collision Clinic’s selection committee concluded that “we say, as judges, it’s part of our Christmas gift to ourselves, that we get to experience the pleasure that these families get every year. It’s just an incredible feeling to see that this family’s lives are changed because of this vehicle.”
