Fairview, Alberta — Fairview Classic Collision in Fairview, Alta. recently announced its new owners—Red-Seal certified journeyman Josh Coon and his fiancee Tasha Bowman have taken over the facility.
Josh is originally from nearby Hines Creek, which is a mere 20-minute drive from Fairview. He will run the facility alongside Tasha, who touts management, marketing, advertising and business ownership experience and will serve as owner and treasurer.
Along with his Red-Seal auto body technician certification, Josh is equipped with 13 years of autobody experience
Both Josh and Tasha have dreamed of having their own business and invested their life savings into purchasing Fairview Classic Collision.
Josh found his passion for auto body repair when he acquired an older truck and started fixing it up.
“It just kept going from there,” said Josh.
Tasha said she has always loved vehicles, especially trucks. She said she can clearly recall her first—a ’79 GMC short box pickup truck.
Tasha has worked in a variety of fields, including dealership sales and working in the oilfield industry recruiting and training. In the last two years, she has established and run her own home-based business, Emerald Healing Lounge.
The couple has plans to expand shop services in the future, including bed liners, rocker panel protection, undercoating and accessory installation.
