Toronto, Ontario — As international leaders in their respective fields, it seems only natural that IBIS and 3M carry on their fruitful partnership, as the latter announced Tuesday that it has extended its status as an IBIS Global Partner for the next three years.
This partnership will see the Minnesota-based manufacturer of just about everything position itself at the forefront of numerous international industry summits, where it may continue to provide leadership in the realms of talent acquisition, collision repair shop process optimization and sustainable supply chains, according to 3M’s press release.
The relationship between these two companies began at IBIS’s inaugural global summit in 2001 and has only grown more solid and productive as years pass.
“We’re thrilled to be continuing this journey with IBIS,” said president of 3M’s automotive aftermarket division, Dave Gunderson.
“Through each year of our longstanding partnership, 3M has had the opportunity to connect with some of the best and brightest in collision repair, all around the globe. We view this partnership as integral in our ability to learn, grow and further advance in the industry. We look forward to working with the IBIS team to further innovate and have thoughtful conversations on the most pressing topics impacting the present and the future of the automotive collision repair industry.”
IBIS CEO, Jason Moseley, echoed a similar enthusiasm to Gunderson, saying “We are thrilled to have 3M as our global partner again. This agreement shows the commitment to supporting a strong and sustainable sector. Over the last few years 3M have used the IBIS platform to inform and educate hundreds of industry leaders.
“We will start the extended agreement at IBIS Middle East – Dubai In February moving on to the Exclusive IBIS USA Nashville [event] in April, followed by the flagship Global Summit – Milan in June.”
The theme for IBIS’s 2023 lineup of events is “Sustainable Strategies for Success.”
