Calgary, Alberta — SkillsTrader has scored a touchdown through a new partnership with Nike Canada that will get young people out on the field for a flag football tournament.
Seeing a bridge between the physical and team skills that come with playing youth sports and those that can be uncovered in a skilled trade, SkillsTrader CEO Fadi Smaidi sees this upcoming event as the perfect opportunity to get youth engaged with the industry.
“The pandemic has had a strong impact on our kid’s participation in sports and we’re prepared to recognize and reward those kids willing to get out and play,” said Smaidi.
The SkillsTrader and Nike Canada’s flag football camp is set to run from May 27 to 29 in Calgary Alta., is co-ed and open to kids aged 11-14.
