Newmarket, Ontario — Last Friday, CARSTAR Newmarket celebrated its move to a spiffy new location with some impressive new equipment.
Equipped with Glasurit 100 line and a state-of-the-art Blowtherm booth, CARSTAR Newmarket owners the Deokinandan family are ready to wow customers with their friendly–and speedy–service. The family has been part of the CARSTAR fold for five years, formerly operating out of a much smaller location on nearby Deerfield Rd.
The new location is a sprawling facility situated in an industrial park along the Harry Walker Parkway, featuring sparkling white walls and floors and a particularly fancy front office space.
The team at CARSTAR Newmarket has been utilizing the use of UV primer at the new location and, with its new Blowtherm booth, can have cars painted and dried in as little as 45 minutes.
“You could prime a fender in five minutes,” beamed Bisram Deokinandan, co-owner of CARSTAR Newmarket and longtime automotive refinisher.
“He’s been enjoying the new Glasurit 100 line, I promise you that,” joked Brian Busby of BASF Canada.
Collision Repair mag was on site for the grand event, where Driven Brands and CARSTAR Canada execs rubbed shoulders with other industry shop owners and community members alike. Deputy mayor of Newmarket, Tom Vegh, was also in attendance for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
