Toronto, Ontario — Get plugged into the latest webinar offering from CIECA, as the collision industry advocacy group gears up for a presentation from Ryan Mandell on the latest electric vehicle trends and what they mean for stakeholders.
As director of performance consulting at Mitchell International’s auto physical damage business unit, there are few more equipped than Mandell to dive into the EV industry’s latest numbers and how they are affecting claims and repair procedures for shop owners.
“Sales of EVs grew by 85 percent in 2021 while sales of light-duty vehicles increased by just three percent over the same period,” said Mandell.
“As more consumers embrace EVs and automakers promise an all-electric lineup, insurers and repairers must prepare for dramatic changes to the way they manage collision claims.”
Mandell earned his stripes in the industry as the operations manager for an auto recycler, a body shop manager and an insurance claims representative for a top-five carrier at different points in his career.
His presentation of “Charged for Success: Understanding EV Trends and Their Impact” is scheduled for June 23 at 2 p.m. EST and will be followed immediately by a Q-and-A session.
