Nelson, British Columbia — When you’re shopping this festive season, remember that even pets can become exasperated with the holiday haul. Notably, one such dog in Nelson, British Columbia reportedly began honking for their owner after deciding that day’s shopping spree had carried on for too long.
According to online reports, citizens in the Nelson area claimed to be hearing incessant car honking in the parking lot of a local shopping strip and were surprised to see a boxer dog who had climbed behind the wheel of its owner’s vehicle in an attempt to speed its owner up.
While it is often not advisable to leave your pets alone in the car for long periods of time, witnesses confirmed that the dog was not injured or being mistreated, just annoyed.
Still, with the impressive side-eye seen below, it’s clear that while the dog may not have been injured—outside of its pride—its owner may find themselves on Santa’s naughty list thanks to one peeved pet.
