San Diego, California — August 25, 2016 — With most of those involved in the collision repair industry bracing themselves for some “really significant” changes over the coming months, Mitchell International’s newest executive Jack Rozint says he’s looking forward to helping businesses through these “exciting times.”
Having been announced as Mitchell’s new Vice President of Sales & Service, Repair under the company’s Auto Physical Damage (APD) umbrella, Rozint told Collision Repair magazine on August 25 that he was thrilled to join the organization and is eager to connect with industry members across North America.
“I’ve been in this industry for a very long time and I feel both excited and privileged to join Mitchell at a time when the ADP market is experiencing some really significant changes,” Rozint said.
Highlighting hot-button topics such as consolidation within the insurance and collision industries, the renewed involvement of OEMs in the aftermarket and the introduction of newer technologies to the business, Rozint expects to be kept busy over the coming months. Speaking to Collision Repair magazine, he believes these changes present the industry with a “unique opportunity” to do things differently.
“Looking at ways to improve is something that I feel needs to happen,” Rozint said. “I see these changes as an opportunity for Mitchell to develop new solutions and apply technology to come up with different solutions and services to assist the industry as best we can moving forward.”
He added, “I’m certainly going to be involved in changing vehicle technology, specifically relating to diagnostics and scanning… We’re going to continue looking at all the research we have here at Mitchell to see how we as an information provider can improve. With newer technologies such as the use of carbon fiber and different bonding techniques coming in, it’s requiring us as the information provider to continually be on our toes to ensure we are putting the necessary information at the fingertips of our customers.”
One of the leading providers of technology, connectivity and information solutions to both the insurer and collision repair industries, Mitchell International has a long, established history in delivering favourable business outcomes to companies across the globe.
Himself a relative veteran to the industry, Rozint has more than 20 years of information service experience in the auto claims and collision industries. With positions at companies such as Robert Bosche, Ensera, CCC Information Services and, most recently, RepairCar.com, Rozint brings a successful record in sales and marketing leadership, new product design and launch and strategic planning with him to Mitchell.
In his new role, Rozint will be responsible for leading the company’s North American sales and service initiatives amongst collision repair facilities, OEMs and part suppliers. While he previously has not worked with many Canadian organizations in his time in the industry, Rozint said he’s looking forward to familiarizing himself with businesses this side of the border.
“Most of my work in the past has been dealing with companies in the US, I’ve done some business in Canada before, but it was exclusively with one company in British Columbia, so that’s pretty much the full extent of my Canadian experience,” Rozint said. “With Mitchell we have a large and important customer base throughout Canada, so I’m really excited to get to know the market better and work with different customers and prospects throughout the country.”
