Edmonton, Alberta — This week, competitors from across the world met in Edmonton for the Canadian SATA Skills Car Painting Global Challenge 2022.
Competitors from Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates met at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology campus for the main event, where they will be tested on their speed, versatility and attention to detail.
According to Cecile Bukmeier, six competitors are facing-off for the Canadian Cup, but they will meet again at the upcoming Car Painting WorldSkills Competition 2022.
The four-day pressure cooker event is overseen by WorldSkills experts and is currently underway, ending on July 14. Swing by if you have the chance!
