Fredericton, New Brunswick — June 14, 2016 — CSN-Dana’s Collision Center has announced that it has achieved I-CAR Gold Class status.
“Our ongoing commitment to training with our dedicated team of employees who embrace our training culture have made this possible,” said Dana Alexander, the facility’s owner/operator.
Gold Class recognition is the highest role-relevant training achievement recognized by the collision repair industry. According to I-CAR, it is estimated that only 10 percent of repair shops currently meet the rigorous Gold Class standard. The I-CAR Professional Development Program (PDP) provides a reliable training framework for acquiring Gold Class status and maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills that contribute to proper repairs.
To earn Gold Class recognition, businesses must achieve and maintain a high level of role-relevant training across each of the major collision repair roles: structural, non-structural, estimating and production management.
Each collision repair and refinish technician at CSN-Dana’s Collision Center has achieved Platinum designation. According to I-CAR, the Platinum designation is given to collision repair professionals who achieve and maintain high levels of role-relevant training that contributes to complete, safe and quality repairs. The estimating team at CSN-Dana’s Collision Center has also achieved Platinum status.
“By becoming Gold Class we demonstrate to our customers, our staff and the industry that CSN –Dana’s Collision Center is committed to the highest standards of professionalism,” said Alexander. “ At CSN- Dana’s Collision Center our technicians have the necessary training and equipment to complete safe and quality repairs.”
The facility would also like to thank I-CAR instructor Scott Earle for working with CSN-Dana’s Collision Center to help the business achieve Gold Class.
