Amsterdam, Netherlands — On Mar. 15, Akzonobel received the platinum ranking in EcoVadis’ Sustain 2022 web conference.
This is the second year in a row where Akzonobel received the platinum award, placing it at the top of over 65,000 companies in 2021. According to Ecovadis, platinum ratings are reserved for the top one percent of companies in sustainability.
EcoVadis is a French assessment service that rates a company’s environmental impact, along with human rights commitments and sustainability.
“Recognition of our science-based sustainability target of halving our carbon footprint across the full value chain by 2030,” said Akzonobel in a tweet.
