Plano, Texas — Launch Tech Co. has made its way to the big leagues and been given the official seal of approval from Repairify Inc. to offer its products and services to repair facilities within Repairify’s various networks through a licensing and supply agreement announced on Tuesday.
The agreement allows the Shenzhen, China-based ADAS developer to offer its products, namely the SmartLink remote diagnostic system, through Repairify, cementing the company as Launch’s preferred service provider.
Executives from Repairify said that this deal will enable the company to provide remote OEM and OEM-compatible diagnostic and parts programming services in even more countries.
Repairify president Cris Hollingsworth said in Tuesday’s press release, “We’re excited to enter into this agreement with LAUNCH as it further validates the strength of our patent strategy and allows us to delight more customers around the globe.
“With this agreement we are well positioned to expand remote services while continuing to innovate and lead in our additional core areas of diagnostics, calibrations, and automotive intelligence.”
Chief technology officer Maurice Tuff also spoke highly of Launch and the high level of performance of its products, referring to the company as a “global diagnostic hardware leader.”
Launch has been in operation since 1992 and staffs more than 800 engineers.
