Cleveland, Ohio — August 13, 2015 — Dupli-Color and VHT will be going head-to-head this summer with the launch of a YouTube series where run-down vehicles will be brought back to life using both companies’ products.
Garage Challenge kicks off August 13 on the Dupli-Color YouTube channel, with truck enthusiast Matt Steele acting as host to all 10 webisodes.
Over 10 weeks, viewers will watch Team VHT and Team Dupli-Color restore a ‘98 Chevy S10 and an ‘85 Toyota Pickup, with each competitor using the same products on their respective trucks. The series will see the S10 transformed into a street truck with the help of VHT products, and the Toyota will be re-imagined for off-road use care of Dupli-Color.
The company says the late model vehicles were chosen for their popularity, and the projects seen on the series can be easily replicated in a real life setting using both Dupli-Color and VHT products.
“The ‘Garage Challenge’ gives us the chance to showcase the breadth of these products, as well as the ease of use, and bring to life the striking end-results that we hope will captivate and inspire viewers to take on their own projects, in their own garages,” says Dupli-Color Product Manager Mark Eichelberger.
The series wraps with a final challenge set to go live on October 15.
