Hamilton, Ontario — May 12, 2015 —More than 20 pre-apprentice students today received an inside look at the collision repair industry at the head offices of CARSTAR Canada in Hamilton, Ontario.
Making the trip from Scarborough, Ontario, students from AYCE’s Autobody and Collision Damage Repairer Pre-apprenticeship program received training on a variety of industry topics including job interviews, collision repair estimation and even a trip through the virtual paint booth .
CARSTAR personnel at the event included National Technical Manager Bill Davidge, Director of HR Matt Bell and Regional Development Manager Collin Welsh. Each gave insightful presentations as well as first hand knowledge about the industry as well as an look at the different positions within a shop
