Campbellford, Ontario — CARSTAR announced the newest addition to its network earlier this week, with Scott Drummond’s CARSTAR Campbellford joining the franchise’s fold.
Drummond has been part of the automotive industry for more than 35 years, and part of the Campbellford, Ontario, community since 1981, said CARSTAR Canada. Drummond purchased the local General Motors dealership in 2003 and saw a gap in Campbellford’s collision repair offerings—so he took matters into his own hands.
CARSTAR Campbellford is a newly-built, 825 sq. m. (8,800 sq. ft) facility with state-of-the-art collision repair tools, a secured and fenced parking compound, EV charging and Enterprise Rent-A-Car services on site.
“We recognized a few years ago that the collision industry was changing, and technology was moving at a faster pace than we were,” says Scott Drummond, owner, CARSTAR Campbellford. “For us, CARSTAR was the best partner to help take us into the future with new processes, new relationships, a commitment to quality training, field support as well as a shared goal to provide high-quality repairs and service to our customers.”
“Scott and his team have put a tremendous amount of work into building this incredible facility, especially considering it was done through a global pandemic,” said Dave Meery, zone director, CARSTAR. “We could not be more excited to welcome these outstanding partners into our CARSTAR family and we know Campbellford will appreciate the superior level of service Scott and his team provides.”
Hungry to obtain more OEM certifications, the CARSTAR Campbellford team has already secured its I-CAR Gold Class and ASE accreditations.
Drummond and his team are also quite philanthropists. Committed to serving the community they work and live in, Drummond and his team have supported Campbellford Memorial Hospital, the Rotary Club of Campbellford, Shriner’s Hospitals and the Masonic Foundation of Ontario.
