Toronto, Ontario — The Salvation Army is putting the spotlight on Craftsman Collision for their impressive history of local philanthropy, with more than $300,000 in donations made to the charity since 1992.
“For eight years, in partnership with Overwaitea Foods, Craftsman Collision held the annual Make-a-Dent food drive, collecting non-perishable food items at store locations around the province. They also donated money to purchase a much-needed refrigerated food truck to support our food security program in North Vancouver, helping us preserve food and feed thousands every year,” read the post from The Salvation Army’s British Columbia representatives.
Craftsman also assisted food banks in the Okanagan throughout this summer’s wildfire season and has signed up to be a sponsor for The Salvation Army’s upcoming 20th Annual Hope in the City Celebration airing Dec. 4. on Global B.C.
President of Craftsman Collision Rick Hatswell said “We have supported The Salvation Army because we share in their belief that everyone deserves hope and the opportunity to transform their life. As a Canadian brand it is important to support charities like The Salvation Army who directly impact the communities where we do business.”
Tune in to Global B.C. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 4:30pm PST for the Hope in the City Celebration to see a special announcement from Craftsman Collision.
