Mississauga, Ontario – June 9, 2014 — A round of golf is great, but golfing for a good cause makes it even sweeter. CSN Collision Centres held its 8th Annual Golf Tournament on June 2 at Piper’s Heath Golf Club in Milton, Ont. All proceeds from the tournament go to Make-A-Wish Canada, the company’s charity of choice.
By the end of the day, CSN Collision Centres was able to present the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a cheque for $10,000. The purpose of the organization is to grant the wishes of children with serious medical conditions. In this case, the money is earmarked to grant the wish of Chloe, a 3-year-old girl with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. An amazing little girl who loves princesses and magical animal characters, she is very excited about her upcoming trip to a magical theme park in Orlando, Fla., thanks to the generousity of CSN Collision Centres and golfers who attended the recent tournament.
Industry stakeholders weren’t shy about lending their support to the tournament, with 125 of them hitting the links to help out and have a good time. The tournament was followed by a cocktail hour and dinner. Prizes were given out in numerous categories, and attendees were also treated to a presentation on Make-A-Wish by the mother of another child who has benefited from the organization.
CSN Collision Centres would like to thank the generous sponsors who helped make the tournament possible:
