Vancouver, British Columbia — January 13, 2014 — There are limited spots left on the Canadian collision repair envoy to China. Auto sales in China have shown extraordinary growth in recent years, also spurring a boom in the country’s collision repair industry.
Wedge Clamp has been invited by the executive of the China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Trade Association (CAMRA) to join them for the Auto Maintenance and Repair (AMR) trade show.
Held annually in Beijing in early March, AMR ranks as one of the top three largest automotive trade shows in the world. In addition, CAMRA has asked Wedge Clamp to bring fellow professionals in the collision repair and automotive aftermarket industries to participate in a 7 to 10 day business and sightseeing tour of China.
Wedge Clamp and Craftsman Collision both opened facilities in the Chinese city of Suzhou, just west of Shanghai, in 2012. The businesses are located on different floors of the same building. |
CAMRA belongs to the Ministry of Transportation, and is one of the major sponsors of AMR. AMR 2014 runs from Feb.26 to Mar 1, 2014, and will be one of the interesting stops on the tour. CAMRA is eager to learn and share knowledge and experience as well as create opportunities to build future business and personal ties.
This trip offers a unique opportunity for an inside view of business in China, in a package tailored for the collision repair industry. As a bonus, attendees will experience the highlights of sightseeing in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Xian. The guided tour includes everything from meals, tips, transportation as well as four star accommodations.
