Boucherville, Québec — Leaders in the world of automotive refinishing industry, Uni-Select, is excited to announce that Brian McManus is to be appointed Executive Chair of the company’s board of directors later this spring, according to a press release from Thursday.
McManus is set to officially take on the position following an election among the members of the board, at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 13, 2021.
A seasoned executive, having recently served as president and CEO of Stella-Jones Inc. for close to 20 years, McManus saw Stella-Jones grow from under $100 million in revenues to more than $2 billion.

Brian is recognized as the strategic mind behind the exceptional growth and value creation in his previous role and we anticipate leveraging his outstanding experience and track record to spearhead the strategic direction of Uni-Select,” said Michelle Cormier, chair of the board of Uni-Select.

McManus commented on his appointment, expressing his enthusiasm for developing plans for many years ahead.
