Toronto, Ontario — Simplicity Car Care is pleased to announce two strategic leadership appointments aimed at further strengthening its brand presence and commitment to partnership initiatives.
Colson Cole has been named Director of Brand Development. In this role, Colson will lead efforts to continue growing the Simplicity Car Care brand. With a proven track record, Colson brings a wealth of experience and creativity to this critical position. His focus will be increasing the franchise store count in key markets across Canada and working with our current franchisees as they grow into multi-unit operators.
Cole has been part of the Canadian collision industry for over 24 years and has held positions in the collision repair segment and the supply chain. His experience within the repair segment includes positions as an estimator and shop Manager and was responsible for operations and vendor relations at a national collision repair network. Within supply chain, he has held leadership roles with various vendors in the distribution and refinish segments.
Cole currently resides in Moncton, New Brunswick. He is married with three daughters and recently became a proud “poppy” to his first grandson.
“I’m beyond excited to not only join the great team at Simplicity Car Care, but also to be back in the collision repair segment of the industry,” said Cole. “I believe my experience within the industry for over 24 years will be an asset not only to all the current ‘Simplifiers’ but to all new franchisees that will join the journey going forward. I look forward to working with the team to continue growing our footprint throughout Canada. Having watched what the leadership has done to grow the momentum since starting Simplicity Car Care back in 2017, I knew this was the right fit for me going forward.”
Colson will be replacing Gregory Wing, who is moving to the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Wing’s role, new to the company, will focus on supporting insurance partners. He will focus on nurturing relationships with key partners and collaborating to drive innovation and value creation.
With a proven background in business development and partnership management, Wing will play a key role in expanding Simplicity Car Care’s network and cultivating relationships that align with the company’s vision of making car care simple and affordable. Wing has been with Simplicity for four years and has built strong relationships throughout the automotive industry.
When asked about his new role, Greg responded “I feel this is the best way for me to help the current and future franchisees. I’m excited for this new opportunity to support our insurance partners and work together in creating value.”
“These appointments represent an exciting step forward for Simplicity Car Care,” said Domenic Ieraci, President of Simplicity Car Care. “Colson’s experience and Greg’s strategic approach perfectly align with our mission and I’m confident that their leadership will drive continued growth and innovation for our brand.”
