Welcomes of the Week: NOVUS Glass Hamilton Central announces grand opening under ownership of Jason Russell

Hamilton, Ontario — NOVUS Glass Hamilton Central has announced its grand opening under the leadership of Jason Russell, owner and operator of Russell Automotive Repair and Service Inc.

Russell’s journey in the automotive world began in high school, where his auto shop classes ignited a fascination with classic cars. At the age of 16, he and his now-wife built their 1968 Mustang together, a project that reinforced his love for automobiles and set the stage for his future endeavours.

With over 20 years of owning and operating his shop and witnessing growth in the glass and calibration space, he was inspired to establish NOVUS Glass Hamilton Central.

“Performing ADAS calibrations for four years showed me how the glass business could enhance what we already offer,” Russell explained. “I saw an opportunity to elevate customer experiences and set new standards.”

Russell’s love for classic cars and the community is also evident in his support for youth sports and local initiatives. The press release details how he enjoys coaching these teams, where he can support his own children and others in developing important life skills.

“We believe the youth are the future,” Russell said. “Engaging with the community through youth sports not only supports their athletic development but also allows us to teach vital life lessons. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how sports can positively impact the lives of young people.”

Russell has also been recognized as the first Gold Club Member in Hamilton by NAPA AUTO PRO, having consistently received the Award of Excellence every year since 2015.

The press release concluded that “at NOVUS Glass Hamilton Central, exceptional service is complemented by a strong emphasis on cultivating a positive work culture. Through team-building activities, like lunches, barbeques and outings to events such as comedy shows, the shop fosters a family-like atmosphere that enhances team unity and boosts morale.” The team aims to continue elevating the shop’s auto repair experience by working “in unity, nurturing community ties and building on strong foundations.”

Finally, Vice President of Prime CarCare, Zakari Krieger commented that “Jason’s well-rounded repair service business exemplifies what is necessary to stay ahead in the industry. His dedication to incorporating windshield repair alongside his calibration services reflects a forward-thinking approach that benefits both customers and the market at large.”

Collision Repair would like to extend congratulations to the team of NOVUS Glass Hamilton Central on this next step in their collision repair journey.
