Calgary, Alberta – October 3, 2019 – Last week, Fix Network strategic partners from two provinces gathered in Calgary, Alta. for an annual regional meeting and supplier tradeshow.
On September 27 and 28, Fix Network partners from Alberta and Saskatchewan met up in Calgary for two days of collective business updates and upcoming regional initiatives designed to drive more business to partner shops.
“Our top priority is to do everything we can to help each of our strategic partners to operate successful businesses that will continue to thrive in an increasingly complex industry,” said Chris Peterson, regional vice president for Fix Network British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Beginning with a tradeshow the evening before, shop owners connected with supplier partners to learn more about products and services, as well as any new technologies.
The following day saw a full agenda consisting of updates from the three key areas of the business: operations, marketing, and sales. The Fix Network is dedicated to providing comprehensive support in the industry for its shop owners and this is one of the key factors many franchisees consider when deciding to join a banner under the Fix Network.
In addition to updates provided by the corporate team, break-out sessions were also held for each brand in the afternoon. These sessions allow owners to receive more specific business updates for their particular brand and ask questions to corporate staff members that are dedicated to their business operations.
The Fix Network team was pleased to welcome Barb Moses – Founder and CEO of High5 Leadership. Moses treated the delegates to an inspirational presentation on leadership, motivation, organization culture, teamwork and empowerment. Her messages resonated not only with owners looking to achieve certain business goals, but also those looking to achieve personal goals as well.
Each year, shops are recognized for reaching specific anniversary milestones. This year, Fix Network congratulated Speedy Auto Service’s Edmonton North West location for reaching 35 years of service in the community.
“Once again, the annual Regional Meeting was a great success giving franchise strategic partners an opportunity to learn, network and share best practices with their fellow operators, said Peterson. “We are already looking forward to the event next year.”
