Lassie on the Lam
A stray dog hijacked a police car in Texas this week after the Kilgore Police Department received a call that an aggressive dog was roaming a residential neighbourhood. When the police arrived, and tried to lure the dog into the back seat of the car (which was caged), the pooch called shotgun, crawled into the front seat, and made himself right at home. The cops had no other option than to let the dog calm down in the front as he slept in the air conditioned vehicle, munched on an officers jerky and growled every time the cops tried to re-enter their car. It was reported that the only injury that evening were the officers’ pride.

The Fast and the F(o)urious
When preschooler Sebastien Swenson’s family noticed both him and their great-grandfather’s SUV was missing, they immediately thought someone hijacked the vehicle and took the four year old with them. No one would have imagined that it was, in fact, Sebastien that was the culprit, and he had just borrowed the car to pick up some candy from the gas station. The young boy was able to back out of the driveway and make it a mile and a half from his house, leaving a trail of mailboxes, debris from the front of the car, and eventually part of a tree behind. Sebastien’s epic heist came to a close after crashed the vehicle and was miraculously, quite alright. Although no injuries were sustained (except for of course the front of the car) it will probably be a while before the boy will be able to have candy again.
Honey Boo-Bye!
Famous Toddlers and Tiaras star Honey Boo Boo is reportedly enjoying her life, growing up as a semi-typical teen in America but unfortunately, her mom and boyfriend can’t say the same. TMZ reported earlier this week that Mama June (Honey Boo Boo’s infamous pageant mom) had to drag her man back into their shared home in L.A. after he crashed their SUV into their garage. Neighbours and eyewitnesses reported that Geno Doak was speeding down the street, but lost control pulling into the driveway, ramming into the garage and damaging the front of their vehicle. Boo Boo’s mama then rushed out of the home in just a sheer purple gown and attempted to drag the 6 foot, shirtless, sockless, and clearly inebriated man into the home. It was Doak’s honks that alerted the neighbours and resulted in one hilarious video.
