Toronto, Ontario — June 17, 2019 — CIECA has begun their search for a new executive director after Fred Iantorno announces his resignation, effective this July.
The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association announced earlier this month that their search for a new executive director after 17 years of service from Iantorno.
“We are incredibly appreciative of the contributions that Fred has made to CIECA over the years and he will be truly missed,” stated Steve Betley, CIECA’s chairman of the board in a press release on Thursday.
“He has made a tremendous impact on CIECA and the industry and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
CIECA stated that they are looking for someone with excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal communication skills. CIECA is also searching for someone with office computer proficiency and is “technically savvy”.
According to CIECA, some of the responsibilities that come with being the new executive director is answering members and non-members questions about CIECA, recruiting new members, researching new technologies and assessing their applicability to CIECA and the collision repair industry.
Iantorno became on the founding board members of CIECA in 1994.
“Where I have taken CIECA has been an accomplishment of which I am most proud,” stated Iantorno earlier this month. “It has been in a direction that I felt benefited the entire industry.”
The board of directors will be conducting the search to fill the position of executive director.
