Toronto, Ontario — August 30, 2018 –– Dave Luehr’s Elite Body Shop Solutions is going to show repairers in the industry how to take images that best support your estimates.
In the upcoming free webinar set to happen Tuesday, September 25 at 1 p.m. central, Roger Cada is going to go through the proper way of documenting damages that support the estimates made.
Cada has over 47 years of experience in the industry and has spent 15 years working in body shops. He started his career with State Farm in 1984, and in 1991 was invited to Bloomington to build their estimator training school. He spent over 24 years training State Farm’s estimators, as well as body shop managers and shop owners. He has instructed over 5,000 learners so far. His instruction included teaching estimators how to take and review images that accurately and successfully support the estimate.
Accountable Estimating is now bringing this knowledge to the collision repair industry with Collision Photography, an on-demand estimator certification training course.
All shops tend to take photos to capture the damages however if they are poor images it ends up costing the shop more money and time. Taking a photo isn’t just about pointing the camera and pressing a button, it is a developed skill.
This webinar is going to discuss how insurance companies use the images taken, how to strategically take images, how to reduce the time spent on negotiating estimates and using these photos to protect your shop against potential lawsuits.
