Toronto, Ontario — What do you get when a lifted truck parks a little too close to a low-slung Corvette? Either a recipe for disaster or a simple method for removing a bumper, depending how you look at it.
A video has been circulating around social media of a C7 Corvette Z06 in front of a Toyota Tundra—parked maybe just slightly too close to each other.
With the rear bumper of the Tundra clearly casting a shadow over the low-lying hood of the sports car, the Corvette’s driver decided to try and back out anyway.
The noise that resulted—well, it sounded like popcorn, but alas, there were no such delights on this day. That was the sound of a trailer hitch ripping off a bumper.
What can we learn from this? Almost nothing—the Tundra driver was most likely the one who parked too close. Some people are bad at parking and there is nothing you can do. Enjoy the video.
