Hamilton, Ontario — December 12, 2017 — Rondex Hamilton held its annual Christmas Party and Customer Appreciation Night, donating hundreds of toys to the Ronald McDonald House charity.
“We had a great turn out this year, and it took us two van loads to take all of the donated toys down to the Ronald McDonald House,” commented Bill Verrall, Store Manager of Rondex Hamilton.
Now in its seventh year, the annual event benefits Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides homes near medical facilities for seriously ill children and their families. Bringing together stakeholders from Brantford, Burlington, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, Mississauga and other areas across Ontario, the family-friendly evening included food, drink and a fun venue for friends within the industry to get together and celebrate the Christmas season.
Rondex asked everyone in attendance to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the charity. This year the event gathered more than 200 toys for the charity, as well as the $1,000 dollars raised from its silent auction.
“It really puts everyone into the Christmas spirit, knowing they have donated something to someone in need,” said Verrall. “This is a great family orientated event.”
Collision Repair magazine was in attendance, along with more than 150 Rondex customers, the biggest number the company has seen so far.
