Kaz and Jerry Grudzien open second Fix Auto location

Fix Auto Leduc, the second facility for co-owners Kaz and Jerry Grudzien.

Leduc, Alberta — September 14, 2017 — Kazimierz (Kaz) Grudzien and his son Jerry have joined the ranks of the multi-store operators (MSOs) with the opening of their new facility, Fix Auto Leduc. Leduc is a growing city approximately 35 kilometres south of Edmonton.

The Grudziens joined Fix Auto in 2013 with their first store, Fix Auto Edmonton East. Kaz has been in the collision repair industry since 1980 and opened his first bodyshop in 2000. With almost forty years in the autobody business, he says he prides himself on providing high quality repairs and amazing service to all his customers.

“I started in this business for the simple reason that I really enjoy working on cars,” says Kaz. His son and co-owner, Jerry, is a strong believer in the Fix Auto network.

“When my father decided to join Fix Auto in 2013 with our Edmonton shop, I was blown away by the level of support we received from the Fix Auto team,” he says. “It was the best decision my father ever made.”

Fix Auto Leduc is the first of the Grudziens’ locations to include a Novus Glass franchise, which eliminates the needs for subcontracts on auto glass. Novus Glass is one of 11 glass and automotive aftermarket companies acquired by Fix Auto World in April 2017. In other words, Novus Glass is part of the family.

“We are excited to expand our business within the Fix Auto family, they truly want us to succeed and provide our team with the tools and knowledge we need to do just that,” says Jerry. A statement from Fix Auto says the Leduc location meets Fix Auto’s modern and clean brand standards.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Kaz and Jerry on this second facility, this time for their Leduc location,” says Peter Polito, General Manager for Fix Auto Western Region. “Their commitment and enthusiasm to the brand, as well as high quality repair work and customer service, will benefit Fix Auto Leduc’s sustainability going forward. We welcome the Leduc team to the family and we look forward to working in partnership with them.”
