Abbotsford, British Columbia — June 22, 2017 — In the custom automotive world, there is likely no bigger brand than the legendary House of Kolor. The company, founded in 1956 by Jon Kosmoski, is often held up as the pinnacle of automotive paint for collectors.
Equally as legendary is House of Kolor’s rigorous vetting process, which demands that only the best-of-the-best can paint with their products. The company’s Shimrin 2 mixing system produces 2,800 colours under the House of Kolor brand and is carried by less than 100 custom shops in the world. House of Kolor Director of Business Development Craig Robatzek says the company has officially selected just one company in Canada to carry the full Shimrin 2 mixing system: 360 Fabrication in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
“This is a big deal for any custom painting company, and it’s fantastic to see a Canadian company be selected,” says Robatzek. “As a Canadian myself, I’m super excited to have the very first Canadian custom shop be selected.”
World-renowned custom painter Mike Taylor is also visiting the 360 Fabrication shop to demonstrate his painting skills to the master painters at 360. Taylor, who gained international fame for award-winning projects for celebrity clients such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Bush, Fox Racing and Kevin Costner, paints exclusively with House of Kolors products.
