Equip Auto 2007 is one of the auto industry’s most celebrated annual events, and this year’s exhibition is poised to be the biggest one yet. Taking place October 15-20 at Parc d’Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte, in Paris, France, Equip Auto 2007 features representation from all equipment markets.

I think everyone knows about the JetBlue screw-up this past winter. Some poor passengers had to spend nine hours on a plane going nowhere. Did you know that other airlines suffered the same way with the weather conditions and passed that suffering onto the customers also?

So here I sit, some 30-plus years later reflecting on a career that began sweeping floors in a shop. I remember at the time not being sure what I wanted to do. With outstanding coaching and mentoring along the way, I eventually became a collision technician, worked my way into shop management, enjoyed a successful insurance career and acquired my own business. I am now involved in a start-up with a global company.
