IBIS, the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium, is moving from Montreux, Switzerland, where this global gathering of collision repair industry leaders and key stakeholders has been held for the past five years, to a new location - The Hotel Martinez - in Cannes, France. Collision Repair magazine is the Canadian Publisher Partner for the acclaimed global gathering. Over the past six years, IBIS has grown to become one of the single most important and influential international events for the collision repair industry and, last June, IBIS 2006 attracted more than 300 delegates from 32 countries.
The theme for IBIS 2007 is “Wheels of Change - re-thinking the repair market.”
This theme acknowledges the dramatic developments currently influencing the collision repair marketplace on a global scale and the urgent need for radical change in order to meet the challenges the industry is faced with today.
Cannes is just a short distance from Monte Carlo and IBIS 2007 takes place just a few days after the world famous Monaco Grand Prix, so no doubt some delegates will wish to make the trip to France a little early and combine business with pleasure.
IBIS director Lynette Waite also reports that there has been a very high level of interest for IBIS 2007 already.
“Over the years we have had a fantastic level of loyalty from our sponsors and attendees and this year is no exception. I am delighted to say that our full compliment of ten IBIS 2007 sponsors has already been taken up,” says Lynette.
The sponsors 3M, Allstate Insurance Company, Audatex, AXA, Car-O-Liner, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Honda Motor Europe, Nobilas International, PPG and The sia Sika Alliance.
