Mississauga, Ontario -- November 19, 2012 -- PPG Canada has announced several changes in its business development and sales organization.
Norm Angrove is now National Business Development and Business Solutions Manager. The promotion expands Angrove’s current Canadian business development responsibilities to include the Canadian business solutions division in his portfolio.
Reporting to Angrove are the regional business solutions and business development managers who bring PPG’s value-added programs and services to collision repair centres across Canada.
“Moving into this new position is very exciting,” said Angrove. “Working as a team, we will ensure that we are providing ongoing value innovation along with the best systems, products and processes to maximize our customers’ profits and their customers’ satisfaction.”
Angrove has more than 30 years of experience in the Canadian automotive aftermarket and refinish industry. Since joining PPG 10 years ago, he has held positions as zone program manager, Ontario regional manager and senior manager, value programs. He is considered an expert in industry marketing trends, distribution and collision centre operations.
Two new team members have been added to the sales division. Teresa Masotti and Melanie Rice have both joined PPG Canada Automotive Refinish as territory managers.
Masotti is a highly experienced sales professional with extensive industry knowledge. Most recently, she was business development manager, Ontario region, with Hooper Welding Enterprises of Oakville, Ontario. Prior to that, she spent five years with Lamons Gasket Company in territory sales, and 13 years with Russel Metals, in business development. Masotti will join the Greater Toronto Area sales team.
Rice is a skilled professional with extensive paint and industrial sales experience. Most recently, she held the position of sales representative for AkzoNobel-Mulco Industrial, Longueil, Quebec.
Before that, she spent five years with AkzoNobel-Decorative Paints, in a national training role and nine years with SICO in media management and sales representative development positions. Rice is based in London, Ontario, and will join the South-Central Ontario sales team.
“We’re very pleased to make these appointments,” said Steve Zweig, PPG zone director, refinish sales. “The expertise and experience these individuals offer to PPG Canada Inc., Automotive Refinish and our customers represent and support PPG’s continuing leadership in the automotive refinish market.”
