Toronto, Ontario--December 8, 2010--Paul Reichert has been appointed LKQ's national industry relations manager for Canada.
"With over 20 years experience in automotive aftermarket product sales, marketing and
applying a strong expertise in business leadership, Paul will be a welcome addition to the industry
relations team and strategic focus," LKQ said in a release.
In this role Paul will be responsible for developing executive relations with insurance companies, MSOs, management information system providers and industry associations.
Paul will report directly to LKQ VP Terry Fortner and RVP Jim Pundt.
Paul came to LKQ via the company's recent acquisition of Cross Canada, where Paul was managing director of sales.
Prior to this role, he was vice president and director of sales for Collision Parts Specialists.
Paul and his wife Rhonda have three children, all of whom are currently enjoying post education studies. Paul holds a bachelor of business administration from York University.
He is an active member and contributor to various automotive associations. Paul also dedicates time to the Yonge Street Mission in Toronto, a foundation established to enrich the community through various support programs.

Blainville, Quebec--November 23, 2010--President of Fix Auto Canada Manon Duplantie announced today that Steve Leal has accepted the position of COO for Fix Auto Canada.
Leal will take up the newly defined position that reflects Fix Auto’s preparation for its new phase of lean process implementation and uniformity of operational procedures across Canada.
"Steve’s exceptional operational abilities combined with his track record of outstanding leadership, executive strategic business initiatives and in depth knowledge of our industry will benefit the members of the Fix Auto network," Fix said in their release announcing the appointment.

Brighton, Michigan--November 19, 2010--Transtar Autobody Technologies announced two additions to their company: Mike Westrick as VP of operations and Sean Kearney as demand planner.
“We are pleased to have both Mike and Sean on our team,” said Charles Fuqua, Jr, Transtar's president. “They will certainly help speed our commitment to providing the best in class customer satisfaction in the industry.”
Mike Westrick joins Transtar as vice president of operations. Westrick will oversee all manufacturing, purchasing, maintenance and environmental, health and safety. Prior to Transtar, Westrick worked as a senior technology manager and global business coordinator for the specialty coatings business at Acheson Colloids. In this role, he developed and implemented strategic plans to increase new product sales through the utilization of unique chemistries and advanced manufacturing methods. His combined knowledge in these areas coupled with his experience in leading teams significantly improved new product sales, manufacturingefficiency, profitability and led to a reduction in the overall manufacturing footprint. Westrick holds a bachelor of science in biochemistry from Michigan State University.
Sean Kearney became a part of Transtar’s team as a demand planner. Before Transtar, Kearney was the supply chain manager at Calvin Klein Furniture-Z3 where he coordinated release, logistics and fulfillment of orders for facilities both domestically and internationally. Before that, he was operations manager at Fleet Car Carriers where he helped maintain ISO 9001 certification and improved the tracking and delivery of shipments. Kearney is currently working on his CPIM certification is through APICS. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, Dearborn.

Vancouver, British Columbia--November 19, 2010--PartsCheck Live has announced that Jeff Patti has joined the PartsCheclk Live management group in the position of business development consultant.
Patti is the principal partner of Brandtley Automotive Consultants, LLC. He was a regional automobile physical damage manager for Amica Insurance where he managed Amica’s salvage recovery, direct repair, and automobile physical damage catastrophe programs. In addition, he had regional responsibilities for Amica’s automobile physical damage program, which covered 36 states that included the Midwest, Southeast and Western Part of the United States.
Mr. Patti is the past chairman of the Collision Industry Conference Repair Standards Committee. He is an ASE-certified master technician, ASE-certified collision master technician, ASE-certified estimator and has attained Platinum status with I-CAR.
Patti also has experience in the aerospace industry at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in the mechanical systems and design area where he was involved in the F119, Space Shuttle Main Engine and RL10 projects. He also served in the United States Army.
“We’re pleased that Mr Patti has chosen to work with PartsCheck at this time," said PartsCheck CEO Brad Desaulniers. "His contacts and experience reinforce and add to current management abilities and ongoing marketing and development initiatives.”
Patti was similarly upbeat about his new role at PartsCheck.
