Toronto, Ontario -- July 25, 2012 -- It isn't often that you get to enjoy great food, support a wonderful charity and celebrate the birthday of a collision industry legend all in one day, but that's exactly what happened at the 4th Annual 427 Auto Collision ~ CSN Customer Appreciation and Charity BBQ. The event took place July 25 at the company's facility in Toronto, Ont., with a theme of "Shoot for the Stars."

It was an appropriate theme. In addition to enjoying food and drink supplied by the hosts, those in attendance had a chance to win great prizes and help support  Make-A-Wish Canada at the same time. Make-A-Wish Canada grants wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions.

"We try to support at least three or four wishes a year," said Lorenzo D'Alessandro, GM of 427 Auto Collision ~ CSN. It's an effort that helps to put smiles on the faces of kids who too often can't find much to be happy about.

Cheerleaders from the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Argos were also on hand, encouraging people to try their luck at sinking baskets or showing off their football skills to win tickets for the charity raffle.

The day's event also celebrated industry legend Ralph D'Alessandro's birthday. Ralph launched 427 Auto Collision over 40 years ago in a 2500 sq. ft. facility. Not only is the facility still going strong all these years later, it's grown to become one of the largest collision repair facilities in the country.
