Berg passed away in April 2010. He was known to many in the industry through his work for 3M Canada and his seat on the Automotive Industries Association board of directors.

 

The tournament took place at the Forest City National Golf Club in London, Ontario. Last year's tournament was held at the same location and managed to raise over $60,000 for Rick Berg House, the new home for the Epilepsy Support Centre in London.
