You can’t accuse the management and staff of Mascarin Collision Centre of being behind the times. Located at 610 Harold Crescent in Thunder Bay, ON, the facility has already completed their conversion to waterborne coatings. The facility is now using DuPont Performance Coatings Spies Hecker line of automotive paint.

Larry Carter, former President and CEO of Car-O-Liner North American Operations, is no stranger to hard work. For more than 45 years he has dedicated his life to the collision repair industry. That dedication was recently honoured at a lavish party in Las Vegas, NV that was hosted by Car-O-Liner.
First introduced to the trade in his father’s repair shop, it was there that Larry made the decision to pursue collision repair as a career.
The journey from repair shop employee to CEO has been a road marked with various exciting opportunities, through all of which Larry has demonstrated his deep commitment to advancing the collision repair industry.

Out of the nearly infinite number of paths one could take to shop ownership, there are two that seem to predominate. By far the most common is for a technician to learn the business working for someone else, and then either buy that collision repair facility or start a new one.
The other path, that of someone entering management through the business side, is not the rarity it once was, but it is still less common than the first. This is the path taken by Jan Batovanja, co-owner of Cascade Collision in Hinton, AB.

After spending some time talking with Joy Skinner of Industrial Park Collision, located in Orilla, ON, it’s apparent why she deserves the awards she's received. A phenomenal business owner, she exudes an almost tangible attitude of “nothing is impossible.”
When you first walk into Industrial Park Collision the first thing you notice is the beautiful waiting area, where two staff are on duty to answer any questions a customer might have.
