Niagara Falls, Ontario -- October 22, 2012 -- There will be one more Niagara Falls family on the road this year, able to drive their kids to school, collect groceries and make their way on family outings.

In support of Project SHARE, a Niagara Falls based charity dedicated to “helping people who live on a low income in the city of Niagara Falls,” owners of CARSTAR Niagara Falls John, Nicki and son Mario Cicchino have pledged their support of the program by purchasing, repairing and ultimately donating a vehicle to a family in need.

Sam Mercanti, president and CEO of CARSTAR said on the Cicchino’s community involvement, “CARSTAR has been successful in so many provinces, for so many years, due to the hard work and dedication of franchise partners like the Cicchino family. Their continued success is in large part due to their selfless work in supporting and improving the community which supports their business.”

For over 15 years, CARSTAR Niagara Falls have been active members of their community and in addition to the SHARE project, have participated in the annual Soaps it Up Carwash campaign for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and have supported The Ladies Auxiliary Fashion Show in support of local breast cancer research in Niagara Falls for the last five years.

CARSTAR Automotive Canada would also like to congratulate the family on their 15th year as part of the CARSTAR family and for their achievement in receiving the AVIVA Best in Class Award which was given at a gala event during CARSTAR’s Annual Industry Conference in Ottawa, Ont.

After joining the CARSTAR franchise network in 1997, increasing demand lead the family to invest in a larger facility in 2004 which featured increased square footage, improved efficiencies and greater productivity.

Since that move, the Cicchino’s have continued to invest in their future growth, paving the way for their son Mario to take the helm in the future.
