| AIA Canada announces final group of Diamond Jubilee Medal recipients |

Ottawa, Ontario -- August 20, 2012 -- The Automotive Industries Association of Canada is one of only 26 professional and economic groups in Canada invited by the Governor General to nominate individuals for Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals. AIA Canada received 38 Medals to be distributed to exceptional Canadians from the automotive aftermarket industry in honour of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen. Approximately 60,000 Canadians in total are to receive the medal over the course of the year. “AIA Canada is honoured to be given the opportunity to recognize professionals in our industry that make significant contributions to bettering their communities and Canada with their activities,” said AIA Canada President, Marc Brazeau. The medals will be presented to automotive aftermarket industry professionals who are seen by others as respected community leaders. AIA is proud to announce the second and final group of recipients to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. They are:

• Brent Karr
• Sean Corcelli
• Dean Wilson
• Stan Kingshott
• Tim MacDonald
• Ozzie Babineau
• Joan Waechter
• Rick Jamieson
• Danica Kelso
“On behalf of the industry, it is my profound pleasure to add these great industry leaders to the list of deserving recipients who will be recognized for their tireless efforts to better the lives of those around them,” added John MacDonald AIA Chairman of the Board. “I take great honour in being the first to congratulate all of these individuals.”
All 38 Medals have now been awarded to recipients, bringing AIA Canada’s nomination process to a close. Recipients will be presented with their Medals at various AIA events throughout the fall of this year. The first such event will be the Western Canada Automotive Service Providers Forum set to take place on September 5, 2012 in Edmonton.
