Toronto, Ontario -- July 6, 2012 -- A collision took place during a practice session at Honda Indy Toronto, resulting in four injuries. The accident took place on Friday morning on pit lane when Justin Wilson’s indy car collided with the back of Sebastien Bourdais’ car during a practice for the IndyCar Series.

Chuck Homan and Raffi Aroyan from Dragon Racing, both members of Bourdais’ crew, were taken to St. Michael’s Hospital for leg and ankle injuries.

Wilson said he got stuck when the car refused to go into neutral and the carbon breaks stopped working. He then tried to drive into the wall but still ended up hitting the car in front of him.

The other two people that were injured in the accident were David Martin of Dragon Racing and Michael Cole of Wilson’s Dale Coyne Racing Team. They were released from the infield care centre after being treated for minor leg injuries.
