CALGARY, AB -- July 21, 2008 -- WorldSkills Calgary 2009 has announced Car-O-Liner as a Founding Equipment Partner for the 40th WorldSkills Competition, taking place in Calgary, AB September 1-6, 2009.

Car-O-Liner will be providing a large cross-section of equipment for the autobody repair competition. Along with being named a Founding Equipment Partner, Car-O-Liner will be the Official Sponsor of the Autobody Repair Competition.

“At Car-O-Liner and it’s Car-O-Liner Academy there is constant dedication to working closely with education to ensure proper training is provided to everyone in the collision repair industry and it is really important to start at the entry level. WorldSkills is always an exciting event and we are very honored to be involved with WorldSkills Calgary 2009,” states Timothy Morgan, Global Director of Technical Training at Car-O-Liner.

WorldSkills Calgary 2009 recognizes industry support such as Car-O-Liner’s as crucial in running an event of this size and scope.

“We are very pleased to have Car-O-Liner on as a Founding Equipment Partner,” noted Richard Walker, President and CEO of WorldSkills Calgary 2009. “They bring a level of dedication to quality and performance that is the hallmark of WorldSkills.”

The Autobody Repair competition falls under the Transportation and Logistics skills category, WorldSkills Calgary 2009 features 48 different skills competitions falling under 6 skills categories. Approximately 1,000 competitors from 50 countries around the world will be competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Calgary, September 2009.
