TORONTO, ON -- July 23, 2008 -- The Automotive Refinish division of PPG Canada Inc. has announced the hiring of Stan Siemens to the position of business development manager, Western Canada and Paul Weeks to the position of territory manager, British Columbia.

Stan Siemens will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with multi-shop operators and key accounts from Manitoba to BC. Siemens brings to PPG a wealth of experience spanning 34 years in the automotive refinish industry including technical, training, and sales. "In the short time that I've been at PPG, the team has impressed me. PPG empowers each employee to do the best for the company," said Siemens.

Paul Weeks will be responsible for managing Nexa Autocolor accounts in British Columbia. His experience is international; as he spent the first 20 years of his career in the United Kingdom, working his way up from the position of Sales Representative to Sales Director for a multi-line distributor in England. Since moving to Canada four years ago he has worked in a collision repair centre in Saskatchewan. "I'm excited to work for the PPG team, and look forward to the challenge of this new position," said Weeks.
