CALGARY, AB -- June 2, 2008 -- The results from the Canadian Skills Competition are in! Craig Mannell has won first place in the Autobody Repair competition at the Secondary level. Mannell studies autobody under Ron Postma at Robert Bateman High School in Burlington, and is also employed at Budds’ Collision Services in Oakville, ON. As the gold medalist, Mannell will return to Calgary next year to represent Canada at WorldSkills 2009. The Autobody Repair competition consisted of a door repair, rocker repair, frame measurement and bumper repair. Tyler Selzler of British Columbia took first place in the Autobody Repair competition at the Post-Secondary level. First place in the Car Painting competition went to Daniel Green of Alberta.
