CARSTAR Announces Two New Locations

November 30 - Hamilton, ON - CARSTAR Automotive Canada has recently opened new locations in Richmond Hill, ON and London, ON. Steve Im and Young Yoon are the owners of CARSTAR Collision-Richmond Hill and are the previous owners of a successful collision repair business in East York, ON. They say they decided to join the CARSTAR network to take their business to the next level.

"It was important to us to have a strong name and presence in the community in which we choose to do business,” said Yoon. “Even more important though, was to associate with a brand that stood for not only quality, but integrity and ethics.” They are located at 13367 Yonge Street. It marks the 24th CARSTAR location in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the first to be located on Yonge Street, a major artery in the GTA.

By choosing to open their business in Richmond Hill, Im and Yoon are able to provide service to one of the fastest growing communities in Canada. In the last five years, thousands of residents have moved to the Richmond Hill and Oak Ridges area.

Wayne Minogue is the owner of CARSTAR Collision-London East, located at 46 Firestone Boulevard in London, ON. Wayne also owns Lawrence CARSTAR Collision located on Wonderland Road in London, ON. He has been a part of the CARSTAR family for over 7 years and is now one of its most successful franchisees. This history with CARSTAR made his decision to open another franchise much easier. Jim Goarley, with over 25 years of experience in the industry will be managing the location with the assistance of Wayne Minogue.

“When the opportunity to purchase another CARSTAR location in London was presented to me, there was no question in my mind whether or not to do it,” said Wayne. “Associating with a brand that stands for quality and integrity is essential to a successful business.”

“Wayne has been very successful with his current location and we look forward to supporting him on launching the London East location.” said Larry Jefferies.

Wayne and his staff participate in many fundraising activities throughout the year, including participation in national campaigns such as the CARSTAR ‘Soaps it Up’ for Cystic Fibrosis National Car Wash Day. On a local level, his location also supports the Y for Kids and the London Skating Club-Synchronicity.
