Car Heaven Teams With The Linden Fund |

The Linden Fund has been added as a named charity on the Car Heaven vehicle donation program.
Car Heaven is a vehicle retirement program operated by the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association and the Clean Air Foundation. The Linden Fund raises money to fund the purchase of specialized medical equipment for Neonatal Intensive Care Units across Ontario as well as providing items of comfort and convenience to assist in the mental, physical and emotional development of infants under care and their families. To date, Car Heaven has successfully retired nearly 50,000 old, higher polluting vehicles. In 2006 alone, Car Heaven reduced emissions to environment by: - 8,710 tonnes of carbon monoxide (CO)[1]- 2,105 tonnes of smog-forming emissions (VOCs & NOx)- 26,910 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) Car Heaven has raised over $2 million for charities across Canada.
